Under the leadership of Felix Wendenburg, the Institute researched and supported the paradigm shift in corporate conflict management in the core area of business, which is expressed in the establishment of conflict management systems, among other things. The Institute cooperated closely with academics and pioneering companies that are committed to the structural optimisation and sustainable systematisation of conflict management in the German economy.

Due to the manageable size of the Institute and a shift in focus, only a small amount of capacity is now dedicated to the area of business. The Institute's focus is now more on social transformation and dialogue at local level, so that capacities for the interdisciplinary area of dialogue and transformation are bundled. Selective (research) projects will continue to be carried out in the core area economy.
