Julia von Dobeneck

During her career, Julia von Dobeneck has specialised in peace mediation and policy advice with a focus on dialogue processes in international conflicts. Between 2015 and 2021, she was a senior project manager and researcher at the Centre for Peace Mediation, where she contributed to the further development of peace mediation methodology as a lecturer and associated researcher.

In addition to her teaching and research on Dialog in der Ukraine, she led the research and transfer project in cooperation with the German Federal Foreign Office ("Viadrina Mediation Hub"). As part of the project "Strengthening of Mediation Capacities", which the Zentrum für internationale Friedenseisätze (ZIF) is implementing with the Federal Foreign Office, she supported the promotion and strengthening of mediation as an instrument of peace work as project manager.

In her role at the Robert Bosch Foundation, she is now committed to promoting peace initiatives in the Western Balkans and remains closely involved in peace mediation and policy advice at international level.
