Consultative Task Force on the Revision of the ICC ADR Rules
ADR Rules
Revision of the ADR rules of procedure and development of ICC mediation guidance notes
In 2012, the International Chamber of Commerce Paris (ICC) set up an advisory working group of experts in the field of international alternative dispute resolution (ADR) to review and revise its ADR Rules of Procedure. These ICC rules can either be incorporated directly by parties into their commercial contracts or adopted in the event of a dispute in order to resolve disputes.
As a member of the Consultative Task Force on the Revision of the ICC ADR Rules, the Institute for Conflict Management participated in the revision of the ICC ADR Rules and in the development of Mediation Guidance Notes. The aim of this discussion and consultation process within a panel of international experts was to make the existing ICC ADR Rules of Procedure more comprehensive and differentiated against the background of practical application and scientific conceptual experience.
