After completing her PhD at the University of Oxford and the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Tetiana Kyselova specialised in mediation and dialogue methods for conflict resolution. As a Viadrina Fellow in the project "Mediation and Dialogue Research: Approaches and Methods for Polarised Conflicts", she is deepening her research on innovative approaches to peace mediation.

Tetiana Kyselova is an Associate Professor at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, International Relations Department. She is also the founder and director of the Mediation and Dialogue Research Centre at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. Her academic career has also taken her to renowned international institutions as a guest lecturer and researcher.

For over 20 years, she has been working with civil society peace actors and mediators in Ukraine, advising them on peacebuilding, self-regulation, training and mediation methodology. As a certified mediator (Search for Common Ground, IHK Akademie Oberbayern), she is a sought-after expert at national and international level.
