Online meetings on shaping coexistence in Frankfurt (Oder) & Słubice

With the two-part event series "How do you see it?", the European University offered interested people in the city of Frankfurt (Oder) a forum to talk about how to live together – including and especially on topics where different, perhaps even irreconcilable perspectives and opinions clash. The events were conceptualised and planned by the Institute for Conflict Management and moderated by IKM staff.

The first event in the series "How do you see it?" took place on 24 February 2021 on the topic of coronavirus. Participating Frankfurters shared their perspectives on the pandemic in an online exchange format. They talked about their professional and personal experiences. Marie Jacobi (visualrecording.de) created the event poster live during the event and used it to visualise the moods of the participants.

Together with Frankfurt's Lord Mayor René Wilke, Viadrina hosted the second edition on 27 October 2021 to discuss coexistence in the twin city. Marie Jacobi also visualised the diverse impulses and discussions in the second event, as can be seen in the following time-lapse recording.
